Get a jump start on your academic skills this Summer!

This series of workshops will build on common problems students have been struggling with this session and based on student feedback for future events.

Summer workshop series:

1. Structure

Structuring your writing assignments has been one of the main struggles for students this session. This workshop will develop your structure skills through lots of exercises that will hopefully be fun as well as instructive. Culminating in an abstract.

• Wednesday 2nd December 2020, 10am-3pm

2. Paper

Now, let’s put those structure skills into practice. This workshop will take the abstract written in the first workshop and develop it into a full essay.

• Wednesday 9th December 2020, 10am-3pm (Date to be confirmed)

3. Presentation

Changing it up, let’s practice our communication skills. This workshop will take the paper written in the second workshop and develop it into a Pecha Kucha talk. Then for the willing, selected presentations will be further developed, digitalised and shared with our CUC community.
