Discussion topic: Sketchbook Challenge
As a strategy to ease cognitive fatigue, develop visual communication skills and even develop academic skills through exploring a creative design process.

Step 1: Get a sketchbook – A4 is a handy size but whatever works best for you (as long as it has blank pages)

Step 2: Exemplars – Your first task is to search the internet for some good sketchbook examples. Print them out, cut them into squares and past them in your sketchbook (email v.hocking@cucsnowymonaro.edu.au for the task Pdf)

Step 3: Thursday – Grab your lunch and join us in the tea room 12:30pm 24/06/2021 Thursday

If you want to join in but can’t come on Thursday don’t worry, just let Viveka know by email v.hocking@cucsnowymonaro.edu.au

This is one of Viveka’s areas of expertise. Her PhD looked at design methodology and she taught design studio for many years. So, she is looking forward to sharing these insights with you.

This challenge will start off simple and grow in complexity so no prior knowledge or drawing skills is required. If you know what you are doing, then be prepared to be patient until the challenge reaches your level of expertise.
